8 IRS Officers Transferred Across Customs and Indirect Taxes, Ministry of Finance

Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, November 24, 2024| The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, has announced the transfer of eight officers from the ranks of Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, and Joint Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes. The transfers take effect immediately, with the officers expected to assume their new roles by December 5, 2024.

  1. Shri Sandeep Kumar Rawal IRS (C&IT 2005), presently in the rank of Commissioner and awaiting posting upon return from deputation, is appointed Commissioner – Directorate General of Analytics and Risk Management – National Customs Targeting Centre (DGARM-NCTC), Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  2. Shri Kalimuthu IRS (C&IT 2006), presently in the rank of Commissioner and awaiting posting upon return from deputation, is appointed Commissioner – Goods and Service Tax & Central Excise (GST & CX), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
  3. Shri Tejaskumar Girdharlala Rathod IRS (C&IT 2008), presently Additional Commissioner (ADC) in the Guwahati GST & CX Zone, is transferred and appointed as ADC – National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Vadodara, Gujarat.
  4. Smt Mandeep Sangha IRS (C&IT 2009), presently Additional Commissioner (ADC) and awaiting posting upon return from Deputation, is appointed as ADC – National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Palasamudram, Andhra Pradesh.
  5. Shri Varikuti Ramakrishna IRS (C&IT 2009), presently Additional Commissioner (ADC) and awaiting posting upon return from Deputation, is appointed ADC – Directorate General of Performance Management (DGPM), Kolkata, West Bengal.
  6. Shri Shashank Yadav IRS (C&IT 2010), presently Joint Commissioner (JC), Customs and Central Forces (CCF), Delhi, is appointed as Jt Commissioner – Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Delhi.
  7. Shri Daulat Kumar IRS (C&IT 2010), presently Additional Commissioner (ADC) and awaiting posting upon return from Deputation, is appointed as, ADC – Customs and Central Forces (CCF), Ghazipur.
  8. Shri Amit Kumar Gupta IRS (C&IT 2014), presently Joint Commissioner (JC) and awaiting posting upon return from Deputation, is appointed as JC – Directorate of Intelligence and Customs (DIC), Delhi.
