6 IAS upgraded to Special Secretary Level | Indian Bureaucracy Exclusive – The ACC has approved in-situ upgradation of 6 IAS Officers to the level of Special Secretary ( rank and pay of Secretary) by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them, the names of the officers are:
- Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh IAS (Punjab 1990) presently Additional Secretary- Ministry of Textiles as Special Secretary- Ministry of Textiles.
- Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari IAS (Karnataka 1990) presently Additional Secretary- Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as Special Secretary- Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
- Ms. Archana Agrawal IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1990) presently Member Secretary- National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs as Member Secretary- National Capital Region Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs .
- Shri Ganji Kamala V Rao IAS (Kerala 1990) presently Managing Director- India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. as Managing Director- India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (rank and pay of Secretary) to the Government of India. He shall continue to hold the additional charge of the post of DG- (Tourism).
- Shri K Moses Chalai IAS (Manipur 1990) presently Secretary- North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region as Secretary- North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region ( rank and pay of Secretary)
- Shri Arun Baroka IAS (AGMUT 1990) presently Additional Secretary- Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti as Special Secretary- Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
