Indian Bureaucracy, Gandhinagar, December 04, 2024| The Bhupendra Patel led Gujarat State government ordered transfer of six of its IAS officers. The transfers include key appointments such as a new Chief Executive Officer for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar Urban Development, a new Chairman for the Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board, and the posting of a new Municipal Commissioner for Rajkot and a Collector for Bharuch district. The detailed list of officers and their new assignments is as follows:
- Shri D P Desai IAS (Gujrat 2008), presently, Municipal Commissioner, Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Rajkot is transferred and appointed as Chief Executive Officer – Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), Ahmedabad, with additional charge of the post of CEO – Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA), Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- Shri Tushar Mohanlal Dholakia IAS (Gujarat 2009), presently, Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-officio Additional Secretary – Food, Civil Supplies & Consumers Affairs Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Chairman – Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- Shri Tushar Dalpatbhai Sumera IAS (Gujrat 2012), presently Collector, Bharuch is transferred and appointment as Municipal Commissioner – Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Rajkot, Gujarat.
- Shri Gaurangbhai H Makwana IAS (Gujrat 2012), presently Managing Director, Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXT-B), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Bharuch, Gujarat.
- Shri Mayur K Mehta IAS (Gujarat 2014) presently Member Secretary, Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-officio Joint Secretary – Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar with additional charge of Managing Director – Gujarat State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- Shri Paragbhai J Bhagdev IAS (Gujarat 2014), presently Managing Director, Gujarat Unreserved Educational & Economical Development Corporation, Gandhinagar, is transferred and appointed Member Secretary – Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Gandhinagar, under the Department of Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar, with additional charge of Managing Director – Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd., Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
