Shri Sarat Kumar Acharya CMD, NLC greeted and conveyed his best wishes to 63 students of Jawahar Higher Secondary School, CBSE for having been qualified for the All India level IIT Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2016 seeking admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology, the Nation’s Premier Technical Education Institutes.

This JEE Main-2016 examination was conducted all over India on 3rd April 2016. Approximately 15.00 lakh students have appeared and about 2 lakh students were qualified for IIT JEE Advanced- 2016 examination which will be held on 22.05.2016.nlc-indianbureaucracy

Shri Sarath Kumar Acharya, CMD, NLC, congratulated students those who qualified IIT JEE (Mains).He informed that out of the 76 students,’ 63 students qualified ; among them, 15 out of 19 girls and 48 out of 57 boys were qualified the exam. He also informed that the achievement of qualifying 5 out of 6 students is the highest ratio (83%) from any single school in Tamilnadu.

Based on CMD’s advice, the school authorities now providing additional intensive Crash Course coaching programme for these students to achieve the best results in the forthcoming JEE Advanced examination.

It is noteworthy to mention that so far about 319 students were selected in various IITs/NITs etc., among 423 students studied in Jawahar Higher Secondary school (CBSE) since 2007.

Sri Sarat Kumar Acharya CMD, NLC conveyed his best wishes to all qualified students to perform well and come out with flying colours in the ensuing IIT (JEE) advanced examination and bring laurels to Neyveli in general and NLC in particular.
