5 IPS Officers Transferred, Punjab Police

Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, November 27, 2024| The Department of Home Affairs, Government of Punjab, has recently issued transfer orders for five IPS officers, assigning them new responsibilities with immediate effect. Details of their new postings are provided below.

  1. Smt Nilambari Vijay Jagadle IPS (Punjab 2008), presently DIG Technical Services Punjab, Chandigarh with additional charge of the post of DIG Ropar Range, Ropar, Punjab, is transferred and appointed DIG – Technical Services Punjab Chd., with additional charge of the post of DIG – Community Affairs Division Punjab, SAS Nagar.
  2. Shri Harcharan Singh Bhullar IPS (Punjab 2009), presently DIG Bathinda Range, Bathinda, Punjab, is transferred and appointed DIG – Ropar Range, Ropar, Punjab, relieving Smt Nilambari Vijay Jagadle IPS of additional charge of the post.
  3. Shri Harjeet Singh IPS (Punjab 2010), presently DIG Vigilance Bureau Punjab, is transferred and appointed DIG – Bathinda Range, Bathinda, Punjab, relieving Shri Harcharan Singh Bhullar IPS.
  4. Shri Gaurav Toora IPS (Punjab 2014), presently AIG Personnel-1 Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Chandigarh, is transferred and appointed as SSP – Kapurthala, Punjab, in place of Ms Vatsala Gupta IPS.
  5. Smt Vatsala Gupta IPS (Punjab 2016), presently SSP Kapurthala, is transferred and appointed as Commandant 27th Battalion PAP, Jalandhar, Punjab.
