Assam Meghalaya Transfers – Indian Bureaucracy Network | 5 IAS Officers of the Assam Meghalaya Cadre have been transferred across the state with Syedain Abbasi IAS (1990) presently on Central deputation now being appointed as Principal Secretary- Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Information Technology and Science & Technology Dept , Biswaranjan Samal IAS (1992) presently Principal Secretary- Transport, Cooperation and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept and MD, Assam Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. is now transferred as Principal Secretary- Cooperation Dept and to continue as Principal Secretary- Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept and MD- Assam Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. as additional charge, Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi IAS (1994) presently posted as Principal Secretary- Water Resources, Public Health Engineering and Spons & Youth Welfare Dept is now transferred as Principal Secretary- Sports & Youth Welfare Dept, Niraj Verma IAS (1994), Principal Secretary- Power (E), Urban Development, Information & Technology and Science & Technology Depts now given additional charge as Principal Secretary- Personnel and AR & Training Dept while Dr. K K Dwivedi IAS ( 1996), Commissioner & Secretary- Personnel, AR & Training, Industries & Commerce, Public Enterprises and Act East Policy Affairs Depts is now transferred as Commissioner & Secretary- Industries & Commerce Dept.
