The transfers, come amid the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate developmental projects, even as it grapples with persistent security and humanitarian challenges. With senior bureaucrats like V K Dewangan handed additional charge of MAHUD and the Imphal Smart City mission, and R K Dinesh Singh moved to the Transport department, the rejig signals a clear push to realign administrative priorities and inject fresh momentum into critical sectors.

1. Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan IAS (Manipur 1993), presently Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Tribal Affairs & Hills, Manipur, and, General Administration Department (GAD), Manipur, with additional charge of Officer on Special Duty, Manipur Bhavan, New Delhi, is given additional charge of ACS – Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development (MAHUD), Chairman – Manipur Urban Development Agency (MUDA), and, Mission Director – Imphal Smart City Limited (ISCL), Manipur.
