Transfers & Postings in Assam – 4 IAS Reshuffle | The Assam Govt has transferred 4 IAS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the officers are :
- Dr. John Berchmans Ekka IAS (1995) presently Principal Secretary- Panchayat & Rural Development, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour Welfare and Tea Tribes Welfare Departments given additional charge as Principal Secretary- Transformation & Development Department, Assam.
- Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi IAS (1998) coming back from Central deputation now posted as Commissioner & Secretary- Home, Political, Border Protection & Development and Implementation of Assam Accord Departments with effect from 01-09-2020.
- Dr. M Angamuthu IAS (2002) presently Commissioner & Secretary- WPT & BC, Secretariat Administration, General Administration, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Departments and Commissioner- North Assam Division, Assam is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary- Secretariat Administration and General Administration Departments.
- Shri M S Manivannan IAS (2005) presently Commissioner & Secretary- Revenue & DM, Home and Political Departments and CEO- ASDMA, Assam is relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary- Home and Political Departments and also given additional charge as Commissioner & Secretary- General Administration and Secretariat Administration Departments.
