Indian Bureaucracy News, Chandigarh, March 19, 2026 | The Haryana government today issued transfer and posting orders for 23 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, aimed at realigning responsibilities across key departments. The exercise reflects a degree of consolidation, with senior officers from the 1990–1995 batches being assigned additional charges across infrastructure, welfare, and administrative portfolios.
Notably, officers such as Dr Raja Sekhar Vundru and Smt G Anupama will continue in their core departments while taking on additional responsibilities in Printing & Stationery and Civil Aviation, respectively. The reshuffle also indicates a push on urban development, with appointments to metropolitan authorities in Faridabad, Gurugram, and Sonipat.
In the power sector, leadership has been consolidated, with Shri Vikram given charge of both Uttar and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigams. Women officers have also been assigned key positions, including Deputy Commissioner, Sonipat, and Resident Commissioner, Haryana Bhawan.
