In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh Government has issued transfer orders involving two senior IAS officers. Smt. Archana Agrawal IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1990), who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department, and Chairperson, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). Shri Amit Gupta IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2000) presently serving as Principal Secretary, Public Works and Engineering as well as Transport Department, and Chairman, UPSRTC, has been relieved of his charge in the Transport Department and UPSRTC. He will continue to serve as Principal Secretary, Public Works and Engineering Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
