18 IAS Transfers in Haryana Bureaucracy | Pankaj Yadav goes as Principal Secretary Cooperation & Public Health Engineering

Chandigarh, May 26, 2026 | In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders for several IAS and HCS officers with immediate effect. The latest Indian Bureaucracy News includes key appointments across Cooperation, Public Health Engineering, Human Resources, Urban Development, Municipal Administration, Information Technology and district administration. The transfer orders issued by the Haryana Government reflect a strategic administrative realignment aimed at strengthening governance, improving coordination and accelerating developmental initiatives across the state.

Shri Pankaj Yadav IAS (Haryana 2001) presently awaiting orders of posting has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary – Cooperation Department, Principal Secretary – Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana and Principal Resident Commissioner – Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. The appointment of Shri Pankaj Yadav to two key departments is considered strategically important as the Cooperation and Public Health Engineering departments play a major role in rural infrastructure, water supply systems and cooperative governance across Haryana.

Haryana Govt

Shri Sanjay Joon IAS (Haryana 2003), currently serving as Director General – Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare Haryana, Secretary – Sainik & Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Commissioner – Faridabad Division and CEO – Faridabad Smart City Limited, has been assigned the additional charge of Chairman – Mewat Development Agency, Nuh. The move is expected to strengthen developmental planning and governance initiatives in the Mewat region.

Smt. Geeta Bharti IAS (Haryana 2005), presently Commissioner – Hisar Division, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer – Hisar Metropolitan Development Authority. The appointment is expected to provide a stronger administrative push to urban infrastructure and regional planning in Hisar.

Smt. A Mona Sreenivas IAS (Haryana 2006), presently Resident Commissioner – Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi and CEO – Sonepat Metropolitan Development Authority, has been given the additional charge of Chief Administrator – Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi. The Trade Fair Authority is expected to play a greater role in industrial promotion, investment facilitation and state outreach initiatives.

Dr Priyanka Soni IAS (Haryana 2012), currently serving in Monitoring & Coordination and Women & Child Development, has been assigned the additional responsibility of Special Secretary – Grievances Department, Haryana. Her appointment is expected to enhance citizen grievance redressal and administrative responsiveness.

Shri Dharmender Singh IAS (Haryana 2012), presently serving as Special Secretary – Cooperation Department and Administrator (HQ), HSVP Panchkula, has been posted as Chief Administrator – Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. The Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board is a crucial institution linked to mandi reforms, agricultural marketing and rural infrastructure.

Shri Manoj Kumar-I IAS (Haryana 2012), presently serving as Special Secretary – Finance Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer – Haryana Pariwar Suraksha Nyas. The appointment is expected to strengthen administrative coordination and implementation of welfare-related initiatives under the Haryana Pariwar Suraksha framework.

Shri Ajay Kumar IAS (Haryana 2013), presently serving as Deputy Principal Secretary-II to Chief Minister Haryana, has been transferred and posted as Director – Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Haryana. He has also been assigned responsibilities as Special Secretary – SEWA Department and Mission Director – Mukhya Mantri Antyoday Parivaar Utthaan Yojna. The appointment is expected to accelerate welfare delivery and implementation of social justice schemes.

Smt. Mandeep Kaur IAS (Haryana 2013), presently Director – Human Resources Haryana and Special Secretary – Human Resources Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner – Charkhi Dadri. District administration remains one of the most important field assignments in the state bureaucracy, and the posting reflects the government’s confidence in her administrative capabilities.

Shri Mohd Imran Raza IAS (Haryana 2015), currently Deputy Commissioner – Jind, has been posted as Director – Human Resources Haryana and Special Secretary – Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Department plays an increasingly important role in administrative reforms, governance innovation and personnel management.

Dr Munish Nagpal IAS (Haryana 2016), presently serving as Deputy Commissioner – Charkhi Dadri, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary – Secretariat Establishment, Haryana. The appointment is expected to strengthen coordination and administrative functioning within the Secretariat Establishment.

Shri Virender Kumar Dahiya IAS (Haryana 2013), currently serving in Environment and Secretariat Establishment, has been assigned the additional charge of Director – State Transport Haryana. The department is expected to focus on transport modernization and operational efficiency across the state.

The Haryana Government also announced several important municipal and urban governance appointments. Shri Vinay Pratap Singh IAS (Haryana 2018), Commissioner – Municipal Corporation Karnal, has been assigned additional charge as Commissioner – Municipal Corporation Manesar. Shri Ayush Sinha IAS (Haryana 2018), Deputy Commissioner – Faridabad, has been given additional charge as CEO – Faridabad City Transport Services Limited and Additional CEO – Smart City Limited Faridabad.

Ms. Aparajita IAS (Haryana 2018), presently serving as Additional Secretary – Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department, Director – Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Haryana and Deputy Commissioner – Kaithal, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary – Fisheries Department while continuing as Deputy Commissioner – Kaithal. The appointment reflects the government’s effort to strengthen administrative coordination across departments.

Shri Samwartak Singh Khangwal IAS (Haryana 2019), presently serving in HSVP Faridabad, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary – Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department and Director – Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Haryana. He has also been given charge as Director – SCERT Gurugram. The appointment is expected to strengthen digital governance initiatives and educational reforms in the state.

Shri Narendra Kumar IAS (Haryana 2021), presently serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Rohtak, CEO – Zila Parishad Rohtak and CEO – DRDA Rohtak, has been assigned the additional charge of Commissioner – Municipal Corporation, Rohtak. The appointment is expected to enhance urban administration and civic governance in Rohtak.

Ms. Anjali Shrotriya IAS (Haryana 2022) has been posted as Administrator – HSVP Faridabad and Additional Director – Urban Estate Faridabad in addition to her present responsibilities. These appointments assume significance amid Haryana’s rapid urban expansion and ongoing smart city initiatives.

Among HCS officers, Shri Pradeep Ahlawat-I HCS (2013) has been appointed as Secretary – HAFED. Shri Darshan Kumar HCS (2019) has been posted as Estate Officer – HSVP Ambala. Smt. Neelam Mehra HCS (2023), presently Deputy Secretary – Monitoring & Coordination Cell, has been assigned additional charge as Estate Officer – HSVP Ambala.

The latest Haryana IAS-HCS reshuffle indicates the state government’s focus on strengthening governance mechanisms, urban development, welfare administration, transport management and digital governance. Administrative observers believe that the postings are designed to improve policy coordination and ensure faster execution of development projects across Haryana.

The reshuffle is also being viewed as an effort to bring experienced officers into departments linked with public service delivery, infrastructure development and welfare implementation.
