#GSTCollections: September 2023 The gross GST revenue for September 2023 stands at ₹1,62,712 crore, showcasing a steady rise. This includes CGST at ₹29,818 crore, SGST at ₹37,657 crore, IGST at ₹83,623 crore (₹41,145 crore from imports), and a cess of ₹11,613 crore (₹881 crore from imports).

Of the total, ₹33,736 crore has been settled to CGST and ₹27,578 crore to SGST from IGST. After standard settlement, Centre and States have net revenues of ₹63,555 crore and ₹65,235 crore for CGST and SGST, respectively.

Compared to the same period last year, GST revenues for September 2023 have surged by 10%. Domestic transactions, including import of services, have contributed to a 14% growth in revenue from these sources.

In the first half of FY 2023-24 ending September 2023, gross GST collection totaled ₹9,92,508 crore, marking an 11% increase from the same period in FY 2022-23, which was ₹8,93,334 crore. The monthly gross collection for this fiscal year is averaging ₹1.65 lakh crore, representing an 11% rise from the first half of FY 2022-23, where it stood at ₹1.49 lakh crore.
