Indian Bureaucracy News, September 18, 2025 | The Uttar Pradesh government on 17 September 2025 issued transfer orders for 16 IPS officers in what is described as a routine reshuffle. The changes include transfers of Superintendents of Police (SPs) in districts such as Azamgarh, Pratapgarh, Unnao, Kushinagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Auraiya, Deoria, Aligarh, Hardoi and Sonbhadra, along with postings in the Prayagraj Commissionerate. The exercise also covers fresh appointments of SPs at the DG Police Headquarters (DGPHQ), Lucknow.

  1. Shri Hemraj Meena IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2012), presently Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Azamgarh, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – DG Police Headquarters (DGPHQ), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  2. Shri Dr Anil Kumar IPS (Anil Kumar-II Uttar Pradesh 2016), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Pratapgarh, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  3. Shri Deepak Bhuker IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2016), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Unnao, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  4. Shri Jai Prakash Singh IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2013), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Security, Lucknow, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.
  5. Shri Santosh Kumar Mishra IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2012), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Kushinagar, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – DG Police Headquarters (DGPHQ), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
  6. Shri Keshav Kumar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2017), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Ambedkar Nagar, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
  7. Shri Abijith R Shankar IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2018), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Auraiya, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
  8. Shri Abhishek Bharti IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2018), presently Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) – Police Commissionerate Prayagraj, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh.
  9. Shri Manish Kumar Shandilya IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2018), presently Commandant, 04th Battalion, PAC, Prayagraj, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) – Police Commissionerate Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
  10. Shri Vikrant Vir IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Deoria, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – DGP Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh.
  11. Shri Sanjiv Suman IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Aligarh, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Deoria, Uttar Pradesh.
  12. Shri Neeraj Kumar Jadaun IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Hardoi, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  13. Shri Ashok Kumar Meena IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2015), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Sonbhadra, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.
  14. Shri Abhishek Verma IPS (Uttar Pradesh 2016), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Railways, Agra, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
  15. Shri Anil Kumar Jha IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently Superintendent of Police (SP), Ballia, is transferred and appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) – Railways, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
  16. Shri Sarvesh Kumar Mishra IPS (Uttar Pradesh), presently Superintendent of Police Commandant, 27th Battalion, PAC, Sitapur, is transferred and appointed as Commandant, 04th Battalion, PAC, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
