15 Bureaucracy Appointments in Assam , IAS & ACS Transfers Announced

Key IAS Transfers
Shri Partha Pratim Majumdar IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2010), who was serving as Commissioner & Secretary in the Home & Political and Women & Child Development Departments, along with responsibilities as State Coordinator for NRC, in-charge Directorate of NRC and CEO of the e-FT Project, has been transferred and posted as District Commissioner, Bajali.
Shri Narendra Kumar Shah IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2016), Director of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam and Managing Director of the Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (AIIDC) as additional charge, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Dispur. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, AIIDC and has been relieved from the role of Director, Employment & Craftsmen Training.
Shri Aditya Vikram Yadav IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2018), who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and holding additional charge as State Project Director of the Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society, has been posted as District Commissioner, Lakhimpur.
Ms Preeti Kumari IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2020), Joint Secretary in the General Administration Department and Department of Innovation, Incubation & Start-Ups (additional charge), has been transferred and appointed as District Commissioner, West Karbi Anglong.
Ms Ayushi Jain IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2020), Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, has been posted as District Commissioner, Darrang.
Key ACS Level Administrative Changes
Ms Meenakshi Das Nath ACS (1992), Secretary in the Revenue & Disaster Management Department and holding additional responsibilities in the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) and the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project, has been relieved from the additional charge of Additional CEO, ASDMA.
Ms Pubali Gohain ACS (1993), District Commissioner of Darrang, has been transferred and posted as District Commissioner, Golaghat.
Shri Saranga Pani Sarma ACS (1995), District Commissioner of West Karbi Anglong, has been appointed as Secretary, Transport Department, and will also hold the additional charge of State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society.
Shri Gautam Das ACS (1995), District Commissioner of Baksa, has been posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Panchayat & Rural Development Department.
Shri Jatin Bora ACS (1995), District Commissioner of Chirang, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the General Administration Department, and will additionally oversee the Department of Innovation, Incubation & Start-Ups.
Shri Pronab Jit Kakoty ACS (1997), District Commissioner of Lakhimpur, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department and will also hold the additional charge of Director, Employment & Craftsmen Training.
Shri Parag Kumar Kakaty ACS (1999), District Commissioner of Golaghat, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Revenue & Disaster Management Department and will also serve as Additional CEO of ASDMA.
Shri Mridul Kumar Das ACS (1999), District Commissioner of Bajali, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Home & Political and Women & Child Development Departments, along with additional responsibilities as State Coordinator for NRC, in-charge Directorate of NRC and CEO of the e-FT Project.
Shri Dhiraj Saud ACS (1999), Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Council in Kokrajhar, has been posted as District Commissioner, Baksa.
Shri Gakul Chandra Brahma ACS (2004), Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Council in Kokrajhar, has been appointed as District Commissioner, Chirang.
