13 WBCS Officers Elevated to the rank of Joint Secretary

Kolkata, IndianBureaucraacy, May 02, 2024 | West Bengal government promoted thirteen of its 2003 Batch WBCS officers to the post of Joint Secretary, in the revised scale of Level 21 of the WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019 of the state.

1. Shri Amitjyoti Bhattacharji, WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as O.S.D. in the rank of Sr. Deputy Secretary at the Chief Minister’s Office, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
2. Shri Priyanjan Das WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as Sr. Deputy Secretary at the Public Works Department, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
3. Smt Sourashmi Mitra WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), serving as General Manager at W.B. ECSC Ltd., has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
4. Smt Shazia Shagufta WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as O.S.D. at the P & AR Department, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
5. Shri Arijit Mitra WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), serving as O.S.D. to the Chief Executive at GTA, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
6. Smt Saswati Das WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as Joint Director at the Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
7. Smt Debasmita Chattopadhyay WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), holding the position of Administrative Officer at PBSSM, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
8. Shri Arbindo Ghosh (Arbindo Ghosh-II) WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as Sr. Deputy Secretary at the North Bengal Development Department, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
9. Smt Debahuti Indra WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), serving as A.D.M. in Malda, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
10. Smt Dona Chakraborty WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as Sr. Deputy Secretary at the S.H.G. & S.E. Department, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
11. Shri Md Naqui WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), serving as Executive Officer at the West Bengal State Haj Committee, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
12. Shri Subhasis Ghosh WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), currently serving as O.S.D. to the Chief Minister’s Office at Uttarkanya, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
13. Shri Suman Paul WBCS (Exe.) (Batch-2003), serving as Sr. Deputy Secretary at the Chief Minister’s Office, has been promoted to the position of Joint Secretary, West Bengal.
