Indian Bureaucracy, Kolkata, September 25, 2024 | The West Bengal government has announced new postings for several IAS officers. Smt Sana Akhtar (2014 batch) has been appointed as Special Secretary of Technical Education, and Smt Aditi Chaudhury (2014 batch) as Special Secretary of Women & Child Development. Additionally, Shri Unice Rishin Ismail takes charge as Special Secretary of Health & Family Welfare, and Shri Shiraz Daneshyar is appointed to the Transport Department. Several other officers have been reassigned to key roles across various departments. Details of Officers and their new postings is as below.

  1. Smt Sana Akhtar IAS (West Bengal 2014), presently ADM, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Technical Education, Training & Skill Development Department, West Bengal.
  2. Smt Aditi Chaudhury IAS (West Bengal 2014), presently ADM, Hooghly, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Women & Child Development & Social Welfare Department, West Bengal.
  3. Shri Unice Rishin Ismail IAS (West Bengal 2014), presently ADM, Howrah, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Health & Family Welfare, West Bengal.
  4. Shri Shiraz Daneshyar IAS (West Bengal 2014), presently ADM, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Transport Department, West Bengal.
  5. Shri Srikanth Palli IAS (West Bengal 2015), presently ADM, Darjeeling, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as OSD – BRAIPRD, West Bengal.
  6. Shri Shevale Abhijit Tukaram IAS (West Bengal 2015), presently CEO, SJDA with additional charge of ADM, Darjeeling, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Animal Resources Development Department, West Bengal.
  7. Shri Sandeep Kumar Ghosh IAS (West Bengal 2016), presently ADM, Darjeeling, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Food & Supplies Department, West Bengal.
  8. Shri Sumant Sahay IAS (West Bengal 2016), presently ADM, Murshidabad, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Youth Services & Sports Department, West Bengal.
  9. Shri Shaikh Ansar Ahmed IAS (West Bengal 2016), presently ADM, Jhargram, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises & Textiles Department, West Bengal.
  10. Shri Jitin Jadav IAS (West Bengal 2016), presently ADM, Howrah, West Bengal, with additional charge as Member Secretary, Centre of Excellence in Public Management and Course Director, Satyendranath Tagore Civil Services Study Centre (SNTSSC), is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation (L&LR & RR&R) Department, West Bengal, with continued additional charge as Member Secretary – Centre of Excellence in Public Management, and Course Director – SNTSSC, West Bengal.
  11. Shri Dhiman Barai IAS (West Bengal 2016), presently ADM, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, is transferred and appointed as Joint Secretary – Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Department, West Bengal.
  12. Ms Divya Murugesan IAS (West Bengal 2017), presently ADM, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, is transferred and posted as ADM, Howrah, West Bengal.
