Ms. Zohra Chatterji former IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1979) previously posted as Former Secretary, Textiles in the Government of India, has been appointed as Chairman- UP Institute of Design, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
This institute being set up in Lucknow with the support of UP Government under the mentorship of National Institute of Design Ahmedabad is for imparting design education for sustaining and preserving the rich craft and handloom heritage of Uttar Pradesh
