Indian Bureaucracy State Appointments: The WestBengal government has transferred 10 IAS Officers across the state. Ajit Ranjan Bardhan goes as Principal Secretary, Youth Services & Sports Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Jalpaiguri Division, Surendra Gupta shifted as Commissioner, Burdwan Division with additional charge of Secretary in Health & FW Deptt while Dr Rashmi Kamal posted as DM, Purba Medinipur goes ED- WBIDC . Rajarshi Mitra JS- Project Management Cell, Cabinet Secretariat has been shifted as ADM- Hooghly in place of Rajat Nanda who goes as ADM- Purba Bardhamann.
Ponnambalam S presently CEO- Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Authority has been given additional charge as ADM- Darjeeling while Priyanka Singla would also hold the charge of ADM- Jalpaiguri in addition to her normal duties. Hari Ramulu Commissioner- Burdwan Division has been posted as Commissioner- Presidency Division. Barun Kumar Ray has been appointed as Principal Secretary- North Bengal Development Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Malda Division. Alokesh Prosad Roy posted as DM, Purulia, has been posted as Commissioner- Panchayat.
