VP Himachal visit on January 6, will visit NIT Hamirpur and inaugurate Ek Se Sreshtha Center

Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh – The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, is scheduled to embark on a significant one-day visit to Hamirpur on January 06, 2024.

As part of his itinerary, the Vice-President will make a notable appearance at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur. Here, he will address the student community, shedding light on the pivotal role that today’s youth play in shaping the future, under the theme ‘The Role of Youth in Viksit Bharat@2047’.

Adding to the significance of the visit, Shri Dhankhar will serve as the Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony of the 500th center of ‘Ek Se Sreshtha,’ an initiative aimed at bolstering educational accessibility across Himachal Pradesh. The ceremony will not only mark a milestone in the initiative but will also witness the Vice-President actively participating in an interactive session with children, emphasizing the importance of education in the region.

The Vice-President’s visit emphasis on his commitment to education and youth engagement, aligning with the broader vision for a developed India by 2047.
