Indian Bureaucracy, Lucknow, June 25, 2025| Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) event in Bangkok, set for August 26–28, 2025.
The state government is launching an ambitious bid to elevate “Brand UP” by unveiling a 36-square-meter stall that pulses with the region’s spiritual and cultural essence. Featuring LED screens and auto-navigation displays, the exhibit will spotlight sacred sites like Sarnath, Kushinagar, and Shravasti from the Buddhist Circuit, alongside Varanasi, Ayodhya, and the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, featuring dynamic visuals with an augmented reality touch panel for immersive selfies against iconic backdrops.
The showcase will delve into UP’s architectural heritage with creative displays of historic temples, while visitors can explore local handicrafts and the “One District One Product” initiative. A one-day roadshow in Bangkok, timed around PATA, will draw over 100 travel traders, media, and influencers with photos, films, and promotional materials. To amplify its reach, the state will air 30-second ads during peak hours on Thailand’s top TV and radio channels for three days, with promos looping 15 times daily at 10 key Bangkok locations, supported by digital screens.
At the pavilion, guests will enjoy warm hospitality with refreshments like water, tea, and coffee, complemented by brochures and maps offering deeper insights. “This is a chance to highlight UP’s unmatched legacy to global tourists and investors,” framing the $20 billion sector’s push. The initiative, building on recent eco-tourism gains, aims to attract cultural seekers and spur economic growth through new investment avenues.
