Shri Uday Singh Mina, a seasoned officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) from the 1994 batch, has built an illustrious career marked by technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to modernization. With a deep understanding of railway operations and mechanical engineering, he has played a key role in advancing railway infrastructure and efficiency.
Before taking charge as DRM, Shri Mina served as the Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME) at Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, where he was instrumental in overseeing the production and maintenance of railway coaches. His efforts contributed significantly to the modernization of rolling stock, aligning with Indian Railways’ mission to improve safety and efficiency.
Beyond his technical acumen, Shri Mina has also honed his managerial and administrative skills.
