Indian Bureaucracy, Agartala, July 01, 2025| In a routine administrative reshuffle, the Government of Tripura transferred 13 officers, including 11 from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), one senior Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officer, and one Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer. Notably, Shri R Arun Kumar IFS was repatriated to his parent cadre at the Forest Headquarters of the state. The reshuffle includes key postings across departments such as Health, Urban Development, Skill Development, Tourism, and Handloom. Several officers have also been assigned additional charges. Detailed list of the officers transferred with their new roles and assignments is given below.

  1. Shri R Arun Kumar IFS (Tripura 2009), presently Director, Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, and Managing Director, THHDC Ltd, Agartala, is repatriated to Forest Headquarters, Agartala, Tripura.
  2. Shri Ajit Sukladas IAS (Tripura 2014), presently Additional Secretary – Rural Development Department, with additional charges of CEO and Additional CEO – Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), Agartala, is appointed as Director – Handloom, Handicrafts & Sericulture, and Managing Director – Tripura Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation (THHDC) Ltd, Agartala.
  3. Shri Saju Vaheed A IAS (Tripura 2015), presently DM & Collector, Dhalai District, Ambassa, Tripura, is given additional charge of MD – NHM, and, Member Secretary – NAM, Tripura.
  4. Shri Tarit Kanti Chakma IAS (Tripura 2017), presently DM & Collector, Gomati District – Udaipur, Tripura, is transferred and appointed as CEO – Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission – Agartala, Tripura.
  5. Shri Mihir Kanti Gop IAS (Tripura 2019), presently ADM & Collector (PP), North Tripura District, Dharmanagar, is appointed as Additional Director – Urban Development, Agartala, Tripura.
  6. Shri Prashant Badal Negi IAS (Tripura 2020), presently MD, National Health Mission (NHM), with additional charges of Member Secretary, NAM, Director, Tourism, and MD, Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (TTDC), is relieved from the charges of MD – NHM and Member Secretary – NAM.
  7. Shri Vivek H B IAS (Tripura 2020), presently Commissioner of Taxes, with additional charges of Director, Urban Development, Commissioner, TUDA, and, CEO, Tripura Jal Board, Agartala, is transferred and appointed as DM & Collector – Dhalai District, Ambassa, Tripura.
  8. Shri Rinku Lather IAS (Tripura 2021), presently ADM & Collector, Sepahijala District, with additional charge of Additional Commissioner, AMC, is transferred and appointed as DM & Collector – Gomati District, Udaipur, Tripura.
  9. Ms Megha Jain IAS (Tripura 2021), presently ADM & Collector (Project & Planning), West Tripura District, Agartala, is appointed as Director – Urban Development, with additional charge of Commissioner – TUDA, and, CEO – Tripura Jal Board, Agartala.
  10. Dr Sailesh IAS (Tripura), presently Director, Industries & Commerce, with additional charges of Director, Skill Development, Mission Director, Tripura Bamboo Mission, MD – TIDC Ltd, and, CEO & MD – Agartala Smart City Ltd, is relieved from the charge of Director – Skill Development, Tripura.
  11. Shri Pradip Kumar IAS (Tripura), presently ADM & Collector, South Tripura District, Belonia, is appointed as Director – Skill Development, Tripura.
  12. Shri Akinchan Sarkar IAS (Tripura), presently Director – Treasuries and Member Secretary – Tripura State Finance Commission, is given additional charge of Commissioner of Taxes, Agartala, Tripura.
  13. Shri Bijay Sinha TCS Gr-I, presently Senior Deputy Magistrate, Unakoti District, Kailashahar, is appointed as ADM & Collector – North Tripura District, Dharmanagar.
