An officer of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), 1989 batch, Shri Date holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (1988). He began his professional journey with the Industrial Systems Group of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), where he worked for one and a half years before joining the Ordnance Factory (OF) organization.
