The Ministry of Food Processing Industries does not provide subsidy on food products. However, for promotion and development of food processing sector in the country, this Ministry has provided grants-in-aid of Rs.579.73 Crore during 2014-15 and Rs.466.49 Crore during 2015-16 under its various Central Sector Schemes.
