Excise & Prohibition Department, Andhra Pradesh is primarily responsible for regulating the manufacture, sale, and distribution of liquor and other intoxicants in the state. The department ensures effective enforcement of excise laws to curb illegal production and smuggling, while also generating substantial revenue for the government through excise duties and licensing.
