Shri Arun Jaitley, Minister for Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information & Broadcasting met a farmers’ delegation representing different stakeholders and organisations from across the country. The delegation was led by Shri Naresh Sirohi. During the meeting, the delegation presented a memorandum to the minister covering various aspects and issues related to the Land Bill which had been arrived at after consulting more than 65 farmer organisations throughout the country.
Shri Jaitley had earlier met another delegation of farmers on 28th May wherein more than 30 farmer organizations had participated.
