Shri Sachin Gupta, a committed officer of the Indian Administrative Service, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, Haryana. He was previously serving as Administrator, Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula, and Additional Director, Urban Estate, Panchkula. His new assignment reflects the government’s trust in his leadership and ability to deliver effective governance in one of Haryana’s prominent districts.
An alumnus of Thapar University, Patiala, Shri Gupta holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree, having earlier pursued his studies at Punjab University. His academic training in engineering has equipped him with a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and structured decision-making—qualities that are highly valuable in public administration.
Since joining the IAS, Shri Gupta has been entrusted with important responsibilities at the state level. His tenure with HSVP and the Urban Estate Department provided him the opportunity to engage with critical areas of urban planning, land management, and infrastructure development, which are essential components of Haryana’s growth story.
