S P Gupta appointed Chairman | Animal Welfare Board of India

Shri S P Gupta former IAS (Haryana 1990) has been appointed as Chairman Animal Welfare Board of India(AWBI).

Shri S P Gupta is a well known face in the field of Infrastructural Development i.e. Urban Development, Housing, Land Acquisition, Agriculture with special emphasis on Organic Farming, Animal Husbandry with special reference to Cow Wealth Protection and Samvardhan, Environment & Forest, Regulatory and enforcement functions etc.
Shri S P Gupta served for more than 25 years out of 35 years of his administrative service in the field of Urban Development in various capacities such as Divisional Commissioner, Chief of Housing Board Haryana, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) Gurgaon, Deputy Commissioner Municipal Corporation Delhi (MCD), Director, New Delhi Municipal Committee (NDMC),
Director in the Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India & Administrator of various Municipal Corporations/Committees in Haryana i.e.Faridabad, Panipat, Narnaul etc.
