Ravi Ranjan IAS transferred as Special Secretary – Medical, Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh
Shri Ravi Ranjan IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently Managing Director (MD), UP Electronics Limited, with additional charge of MD, UP Agro, is transferred and appointed as Special Secretary – Medical, Health and Family Welfare department, Uttar Pradesh.
Shri Ravi Ranjan, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), possesses a strong academic background with a degree in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where he secured a First-class distinction. His technical education from one of India’s premier institutions reflects a solid analytical foundation, which complements his role in public administration.
Since joining the IAS in 2016, he has been part of the governance framework, beginning with foundational training at LBSNAA, followed by a brief tenure as Assistant Secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. Though detailed postings are limited, his academic excellence and early administrative exposure indicate a steady and promising journey within the Indian Bureaucracy.
