Shri Pralhad Joshi has been appointed as Parliamentary Affairs Minister- Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Pralhad Joshi (born 27 November 1962) is a member of the 17th Lok Sabha (2019) of India. He represents the Dharwad constituency of Karnataka and is the Ex-President of the Karnataka state unit of theBharatiya Janata Party. Shri Pralhad Joshi was elected as a Member of the Lok Sabha for the first time in 2004.
He has been a Member, Business Advisory Committee, Member, Consultative Committee, Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Member, Committee on Ethics, Chairperson, Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Gas, Member, General Purposes Committee, Member, Committee on Privileges in the Parliament among others during his long and distinguished tenure as a Parliamentarian.
