Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Power and Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs, laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art 1000-seater Community Auditorium in Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The project is being jointly funded by REC Limited, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), and NTPC, marking a significant boost to the region’s cultural and community infrastructure.
REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, has committed ₹7.02 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support the construction of this modern facility. The auditorium is designed to become a vibrant hub for community gatherings, cultural programs, and educational events.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony witnessed the presence of REC’s Executive Director (CSR) along with senior officials and enthusiastic local residents, who expressed optimism about the positive impact this initiative will have on the district’s cultural landscape.
The construction is expected to be completed within a stipulated timeframe, paving the way for a modern, inclusive space dedicated to artistic expression and social cohesion in Siddharth Nagar.
