Ms. Parul Kush Jain IPS (West Bengal 2004) presently Commandant of the State-Armed Police third Battalion, has been appointed as DIG (Personnel) ,West Bengal Police.
Earlier Ms. Parul Kush was posted in Kurukshetra as the Superintendent of Police. Recently she has been transferred to Panchkula as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police.Even though Panchkula is a part of Haryana – a state who is already famous for its drastic sex ration but the district now has women to posted on almost all the important posts.The list of woman officers is very long. From District’s Deputy Commissioner to both sub-divisional magistrates all are women.
