Mrs Reena Lanba, President Navy Wives Welfare Association visited Army Hospital (Research &Referral) to lend her support to ‘Prerna’. Prerna – an emotional support group for cancer patients is a tri service organisation run by the wives of Army, Navy and Air Force personnel. It is committed to extend a helping hand at Oncology wards reaching out to patients and their families.
Taking keen interest in their treatment, Mrs Lanba met patients and comforted them. She also reassured them of speedy recovery and getting back to normalcy soon. During her visit Mrs Lanba also met up with the volunteers and appreciated their selfless and dedicated service to the community. She also presented a cheque of One Lakh rupees to the organisation for the welfare of the patients.
