The performance of Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres (NRCs) is regularly reviewed through Quarterly progress reports (QPRs) shared by States and UTs in meetings.By and by there are 1151 NRCs the nation over with 12,314 beds. In year 2016-17, add up to 1.88 lakhs youngsters were admitted to these NRCs. The normal bed inhabitance rate was 64% and cure rate was 58% broadly.

There are no reports of deficiency of assets or wares in NRCs and thusly no particular review has been directed.

To enhance usefulness of the NRCs, field visits are attempted to give strong supervision amid various program observing visits and inputs gave to the NRC staff and additionally State Child Health Program Officers for taking fitting activities for the issues recognized.

Amid yearly Child Health Review Meeting for the State Child Health Program Officers, being held at national level, execution audit discoveries are imparted to them alongside proposals to enhance usefulness.
