New Delhi hosted the Italian Business Mission to India in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on April 27, 2017, while Mumbai will host the same in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) the next day.
The meet will comprise a business forum and business-to-business (B2B) meetings involving a high-level business delegation, led by Ivan Scalfarotto, Italy’s deputy minister of economic development. The participating companies from the European nation will represent such sectors as agricultural machinery and food processing.
It will be held under the umbrella of the Italian ministries of foreign affairs and international cooperation and economic development and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with the Confederation of Italian Industries (Confindustria), the Italian Bankers’ Association (ABI), Unioncamere (Italian Chambers of Commerce) and Rete Imprese Italia (Italian Enterprise Network).
