The NCC Republic Day Camp 2024 kicked off at Delhi Cantt’s Cariappa Parade Ground with a Sarva Dharma Puja. This year, 2,274 cadets from 28 States and eight Union Territories, including a record 907 girls, will partake in the month-long camp. The diverse group showcases 122 cadets from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and 171 from the North-Eastern Region, reflecting ‘Mini India.’

Additionally, cadets and officers from 25 friendly countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Russia, and the UK, will join the camp as part of the Youth Exchange Programme. DG NCC Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh urged cadets to embrace values like Character, Integrity, and teamwork, fostering a spirit of nation first.

The Republic Day Camp aims to instil patriotism, discipline, and leadership qualities, providing a platform for training, cultural activities, and social service initiatives to nurture unity and pride.
