I think the tenure of SSP Naunihal Singh in Chandigarh was the period when city witnessed the strictest implementation of the Law and Order.
He famously told any girl to use his name by saying “main SSP Naunihal Singh ki beti noon” if someone tries to harass them by telling they belong to this or that family and report such incidents directly to his office. I think that was very hit with Chandigarh public and was much appreciated by media. It’s good to know that he has been promoted to an IGP.
I wish to see him as DGP of the state in future.
