Indian Bureaucracy News, Bhopal, September 08, 2025| The Madhya Pradesh government late on September 8, 2025, transferred 14 IAS officers across batches from 2006 to 2018.

In Bhopal, Abhishek Singh (2009) was appointed Home Secretary, alongside changes in the Public Relations Department and the State Election Commission.

Indore saw the most changes, with Shivam Verma (2013) appointed Collector, Dileep Kumar Yadav (2014) named Municipal Commissioner with additional charge of the Metro Rail Corporation, and Dr Parikshit Sanjayrao Zade (2017) taking over as CEO of the Indore Development Authority.

In Ujjain, Asheesh Singh (2010) was appointed Divisional Commissioner with additional responsibility as Mela Adhikari for the Singhasth Mela-2028, scheduled from March 27 to May 27, 2028. The event, also known as the Kumbh Mela in Ujjain, has received a budgetary allocation of ₹2,000 crore in the state’s 2025–26 budget. It is expected to draw around 12 crore (120 million) devotees, a significant rise from the turnout in 2016. The fair centers on ritual bathing in the Shipra River, and the Madhya Pradesh government has launched major infrastructure works, including river cleaning and ghat development, to prepare for the large influx of participants.

New collectors were appointed in five (05) districts including Indore, Jabalpur, Katni, Barwani and Agar Malwa.

  1. Dr Sudam Pandharinath Khade IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2006), presently Secretary and Commissioner, Public Relations Department, Madhya Pradesh, with additional charge of Managing Director, Madhyam, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner – Indore Division, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  2. Shri Deepak Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2007), presently Commissioner, Indore Division, Indore, with additional charge of Commissioner, Field, Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA), Indore, is transferred and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Secretary, MP State Election Commission, a Secretary level position in the state government.
  3. Shri Abhishek Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2009), presently Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Secretary, MP State Election Commission, Bhopal, is transferred and appointed as Secretary – Home Department, Madhya Pradesh.
  4. Shri Asheesh Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2010), presently Collector, Indore, with additional charge of Mela Adhikari, Singhasth Mela, Ujjain, is transferred and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Commissioner, Ujjain Division, an Additional Secretary level position, with additional charge of Mela Adhikari – Singhasth Mela, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
  5. Shri Deepak Kumar Saxena IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2010), presently Collector, Jabalpur, is transferred and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Commissioner – Public Relations Department, an Additional Secretary level position, with additional charge of Managing Director – Madhyam, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
  6. Shri Shivam Verma IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2013), presently Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Indore, with additional charge of Managing Director, MP Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., Indore, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  7. Shri Raghvendra Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2013), presently Collector, Agar Malwa, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
  8. Shri Dileep Kumar Yadav IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2014), presently Collector, Katni, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Indore, with additional charge of Managing Director, MP Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  9. Ms Ghuncha Sanobar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2015), presently Collector, Barwani, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
  10. Shri Ashish Tiwari IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2016), presently Deputy Secretary, Chief Secretary’s Office, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
  11. Smt Jayati Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2016), presently Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Ujjain, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Barwani, Madhya Pradesh.
  12. Smt Preeti Yadav IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2016), presently Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jabalpur, is transferred and appointed as Collector – Agar Malwa, Madhya Pradesh.
  13. Dr Parikshit Sanjayrao Zade IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2017), presently Additional Commissioner, Urban Administration and Development, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, is transferred and appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Indore Development Authority, Indore, a Deputy Secretary level position in Madhya Pradesh government.
  14. Shri Ram Prakash Ahirwar IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2018), presently Chief Executive Officer, Indore Development Authority, Indore, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
