The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has been conducting the Special Campaign 3.0, focusing on various areas, including the effective disposal of public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, cleanliness in the workplace, disposal of scrap, and weeding out of files. The campaign is part of an effort to enhance efficiency and cleanliness in the ministry.

As part of the campaign, the ministry has reviewed a significant number of physical and electronic files, with thousands of files having been reviewed and weeded out. Social media platforms have been utilized to raise awareness about the campaign, with posts on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

The cleanliness campaign has also made substantial progress, with efforts to clean up 94 out of 97 sites within the ministry. This has resulted in the freeing up of workspace, creating a cleaner and more organized environment. Additionally, the ministry has generated revenue by disposing of scrap items. In terms of addressing grievances and references, the ministry has made significant headway, with many targets achieved in areas like public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, parliamentary assurances, and more.

The campaign, which started with a preparatory phase in September, is set to continue until the end of October, with the goal of further improving the ministry’s efficiency and cleanliness.
