The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Railways Ministry for appointment of Shri Md. Asad Alam, SAGIIRSME, ADRM, KGP, South Eastern Railway to the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Burn Standard Company Limited (BSCL), on deputation basis for a period of three years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after 20.08.2016, or till the date of his superannuation, or till the post is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
