Indian Bureaucracy, Mumbai, May 16, 2025| The state home department of Maharashtra today issued a late evening communiqué announcing the transfer of 12 IPS officers of the Additional Commissioner of Police rank. Below is the list of officers with their present and new assignments.

  1. Shri Anil Subhash Paraskar IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Region, Brihan Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Protection & Security, Brihan Mumbai.
  2. Shri M Ram Kumar IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Mumbai City, is transferred and appointed as Director – Maharashtra Intelligence Academy, Pune.
  3. Shri Sashi Kumar Meena IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Brihan Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – North Region, Brihan Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  4. Shri Shailesh Unmesh Balkawade IPS (Maharashtra 2010), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Pune City, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Crime, Brihan Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  5. Smt Vineeta Sahu IPS (Maharashtra 2010), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Protection & Security, Brihan Mumbai, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Armed Police, Brihan Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  6. Shri Pravin C Patil IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, South Region and New West Region, Pune City, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Nagpur City, Maharashtra.
  7. Shri Sanjay B Patil IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Nagpur City, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Pune City, Maharashtra.
  8. Shri S D Awad IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration, CID, Pune, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra.
  9. Shri S T Rathod IPS (Maharashtra 2009 ), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, South Region, Nagpur City, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police – Anti-Narcotics Task Force, Maharashtra.
  10. Shri P P Shewale IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, North Region, Nagpur City, is transferred and appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police – Anti Terrorist Squad, Maharashtra.
  11. Shri A H Chavria IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Administration, Pune City, is transferred and appointed as Police Commissioner – Amravati City, Maharashtra.
  12. Shri Vasant K Pardeshi IPS (Maharashtra 2009), presently Additional Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, is transferred and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police – Nagpur City, Maharashtra.
