Shri M.K.Goel has been appointed as Chairperson, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for Goa and Union Territories. Shri Piyush Goyal, Honourable Union Minister of State (I/C) for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to Shri M.K. Goel in presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Power and PFC.
Shri Goel, an electrical engineer, has over 36 years of varied power sector experience. Before joining JERC, Shri Goel was the CMD of Power Finance Corporation, the largest NBFC in the country.
