Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of four new branches in Tamil Nadu, further enhancing its reach and customer service capabilities. These branches will offer a comprehensive suite of banking services, including accounts, deposits, loans, and locker facilities, tailored to meet the diverse needs of customers.
With these additions, KVB’s branch network has expanded to 862 locations, having added 24 branches during the financial year 2024-25. The new branches inaugurated today are:
- Madurai (Othakadai) – Inaugurated by Mrs. N. Usha, Joint Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), Intelligence, Madurai.
- Tirupur (Muthur) – Inaugurated by Mr. M.S. Shanmugam, Correspondent, Vivekananda Educational Institution, Muthur.
- Krishnagiri (Gandhi Road) – Inaugurated by Mrs. A. Aftab Begum, Secretary, District Panchayat Office, Krishnagiri.
- Chennai (Kolathur) – Inaugurated by Mr. Hanish Chaabra, IAS, Managing Director, New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Ltd, Chennai.
These branches are equipped to handle basic banking transactions while addressing specific customer requirements through a broad spectrum of products and services, including retail, institutional, and consumer lending.
KVB continues to enhance digital convenience with its advanced KVB DLite Mobile Banking app, offering over 150 features for financial and non-financial transactions. Recent upgrades have added several customer-friendly functionalities, ensuring seamless banking on the go.
With 862 branches and 2,200+ ATMs and cash recyclers, KVB has fortified its presence across the banking landscape. As of September 30, 2024, the bank’s total business stood at ₹1,76,138 crore, comprising a deposit base of ₹95,839 crore and advances of ₹80,299 crore. KVB achieved its highest-ever net profit of ₹1,605 crore in the last financial year, with a net profit of ₹932 crore recorded for the first half of the current fiscal. The bank’s Net NPA was an impressive 0.28%, reflecting its robust financial performance and strong operational efficiency.
