Shri K Shashanka IAS (Telangana 2013) presently Collector and District Magistrate, Ranga Reddy, Telangana, is transferred and posted as Commissioner – State Flagship Projects.
The Telangana government has launched a dedicated Flagship Projects Department to centralize and expedite key infrastructure initiatives, including the anticipated Fourth City or Future City. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy appointed 2013 batch IAS officer K Shashanka, former Ranga Reddy District Collector, as Commissioner to oversee the new department. Unlike previous project-specific bodies like the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation, this department will consolidate multiple projects under a unified structure. Shashanka’s initial responsibilities include leading the Fourth City project, enhancing connectivity to the Regional Ring Road (RRR), and developing tourism circuits in and around Hyderabad.
