Shri K.L. Sharma CSS, presently working  as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare has been appointed as Joint Secretary, National Commission for Women under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto his superannuation on 31.10.2018 cancelling the appointment of Ms. Chhavi Jha, IRAS(1990).
