Justice Sandeep Vishnupant Marne presently Additional Judge of Bombay High Court has been appointed as Permanent Judge of the Bombay High Court.

Born on 9th December 1973 at Pune, completed his schooling at Garware High School and five-year law course at ILS Law College, Pune and post-graduation from Pune University. Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in 1996. Initially practiced for over a year at Pune District Courts and shifted to Mumbai in 1997. Practised extensively in appellate and original jurisdictions of the High Court.

Areas of practice included municipal & town planning laws, service laws, copyrights, arbitrations, civil, commercial and constitutional matters. Represented several Municipal Corporations like Navi Mumbai, Nashik and Pimpri Chinchwad as well as statutory bodies like Slum Redevelopment Authority, Shipping Corporation of India, MTNL, Pawan Hans, etc. Handled litigations of copyright society for lyric writers and music composers relating to licensing of Indian and foreign works.

Apart from the Principal Seat, had an opportunity of appearing before all three Benches of the Bombay High Court as well as other High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. Also appeared before Administrative Tribunals. An avid shutterbug having keen interest in wildlife photography.

Elevated as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 19th July 2022.
