Shri Justice Robin Phukan presently Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court has been appointed as Judge of the Gauhati High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
Born in Shillong in the year 1966. Did early schooling in Shillong and, thereafter, at Sivasagar, Assam. Obtained B.Sc. degree from Sivasagar College, Joysagar in the year 1986. Pursued LL.B. from Govt. Law College (erstwhile Earl Law College), Guwahati and LL.M. from Gauhati University. Joined Assam Judicial Service in the year 1993 and served at different places in Assam in different capacities till elevation to Gauhati High Court on 21.06.2021, as Additional Judge.
Also served in Gauhati High Court as Registrar (Administration), Registrar (Vigilance) and Registrar General.
