Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Shri Jual Oram has said that clean surroundings in the office stimulates the officials to bring out their best. Launching the cleanliness drive in his Ministry under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in New Delhi today the Minister said we should give the same importance to cleanliness in the office which is given at home. Shri Oram visited different rooms of the Ministry’s office located in August Kranti Bhawan.
Later in a meeting with the officials Shri Oram said despite considerable improvement towards ensuring cleanliness, there is still scope for improvement. He directed senior officials of the Ministry to ensure regular inspection of the office to maintain the standards of cleanliness.
