Shri Chawla has also been holding the charge of Director (Finance) of Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited and Pragati Power Corporation Limited.
Shri J P S Chawla Born on 3rd November, 1959, Shri Chawla is an aluminous of Delhi College of Engineering where he did his BE in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career with Engineers India Limited in 1981 and later on moved to Indian Civil Account Services. Shri Chawla has vast experience of working with various organizations and Ministries of the Union Government. Before joining Delhi Power Sector he was Additional Director General with Prasaar Bharti where he was heading the Budget, Accounts and Finance divisions. Previously he has also been with the Ministry of Urban Development as Chief Controller of Accounts. Shri Chawla has also served as Chief Account Officer with Delhi Development Authority.
