Ms Isha Duhan IAS (Uttar Pradesh 2014), presently Managing Director, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL), Meerut, is transferred and appointed as Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Factories Federation Limited, Lucknow.
Ms. Isha Duhan was previously serving as Managing Director, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL), Meerut, where her leadership contributed to enhancing operational efficiency, improving consumer services, and implementing technology-driven reforms in the power distribution sector.
A graduate of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ms. Duhan holds a degree in Bio-Technology, securing First Division. Her scientific academic foundation has provided her with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, which she has effectively applied throughout her administrative journey.
During her career, Ms. Duhan has held several important positions in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. As District Magistrate, Chandauli, she oversaw key developmental programs and ensured transparent and efficient governance at the district level. Her tenure as Vice Chairman, Varanasi Development Authority, was marked by proactive urban planning and infrastructure development initiatives aligned with the Smart City mission. Known for her disciplined work ethic and result-oriented administration, she has earned a reputation for decisiveness and innovative thinking in governance.
In her new role as Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Sugar Factories Federation Limited, Ms. Isha Duhan is expected to bring in a modern managerial approach to strengthen the cooperative sugar sector, ensuring sustainable growth and efficiency.
